Hematology Oncology Pediatric Physician

Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
- Valid State Medical License (including temporary licenses or IMLC acceptance)
- DEA Certification
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Proficiency in performing lumbar punctures and bone marrow biopsies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma center
- Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient pediatric hematology/oncology care
- Ability to manage a high-volume clinic and infusion center
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric hematology/oncology clinical experience
- Previous experience working in a hospital-based setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability for a 1-month assignment starting June 18, 2026
- Willingness to work 4 half-day clinics per week, infusion center coverage, and inpatient consults
- 24/7 call coverage for inpatient and emergency department services
- Successful credentialing within 60 days
- Flexibility to work day shifts from 07:00 to 13:00 in a 4x4 schedule
This position offers an excellent hourly pay rate of $546.00, along with comprehensive benefits, weekly pay via direct deposit, and various reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and more.
