Hematology/Oncology - Physician - Integris Cancer Institute/Integris Health - Oklahoma City, OK

INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute is seeking a BC/BE Hematology/Oncology Physician to join an established and highly collaborative oncology team in Oklahoma City. This is an excellent opportunity to practice comprehensive hematology/oncology care within a leading not-for-profit health system, supported by a multidisciplinary cancer program, advanced treatment capabilities, active tumor boards, and a strong network of specialty and primary care physicians.

The Hematologist-Oncologist will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, contributing to diagnosis, treatment planning, systemic therapy management (including chemotherapy and infusions), and survivorship care.

• Monday-Friday outpatient clinic located at INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute in northwest Oklahoma City
• Shared call with seven other oncologists - modeled as one week of inpatient "hospitalist' rounding coverage every seven weeks, with the other six weeks dedicated to outpatient only coverage
• Call coverage includes inpatient rounding, with a typical combined census of approx. 15 patients, and supports INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center and the adjacent Portland Avenue campus, and INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital
• Epic EMR - supports integrated coordination of oncology care across clinic, infusion, hospital and specialty services

Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
• Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
• Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
• Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
• Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
• Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
• Complies with policies and procedures
• The Clinical Physician is responsible for patients
