- Edmonds: 19 patients/day
- Case Mix: Oncology, Hematology

- Lab and X-Ray on-site
- Beds in Dept: 19 (Edmonds)
- Support Staff:
- Spokane: 2 RNs, 4 MAs, 3 APPs
- Edmonds: 40 RNs, 6 MAs, 3 APPs
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
- Credentialing Timeline: 30-90 days (expedited available for clean files)
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: BC
- Licenses: WA or IMLC
- DEA: Yes
- Certifications: BLS
- Fellowship: Preferred
- Experience: Inpatient oncology hospitalist experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: Clean file required for expedited privileges
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive inpatient medical oncology and hematology care
- Manage patient admissions, daily rounds, and discharges in a 7-on/7-off schedule (Spokane)
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary team including nursing, pharmacy, and subspecialists
- Document patient encounters and orders in Epic EMR
- Participate in quality improvement and adherence to evidence-based protocols
