HGV Class 2 RORO Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver required for on-going RoRo work in Portsmouth and Southampton areas

This is a varied role combining Class 2 driving with hands-on operational work. Drivers can expect a mix of trade waste collections, flatbed deliveries, and RoRo skip work. If you enjoy being active and prefer a role that offers variety rather than spending all day behind the wheel, this could be the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Drive a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle safely and professionally

• 
  Carry out trade waste collections and deliveries

• 
  Complete flatbed deliveries across the local area

• 
  Operate RoRo skip vehicles as required

• 
  Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork

• 
  Deliver excellent customer service at collection and delivery points

• 
  Assist with loading, unloading, and manual handling duties

• 
  Work as part of a team to complete daily schedules efficiently

Qualifications

Essential

• 
  Valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence

• 
  Driver CPC qualification

• 
  Digital Tachograph card

• 
  Maximum of 6 penalty points
• 
  Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling and lifting duties
• 
  Mobile phone for communication and shift updates
