Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide Responsibilities/Duties:
As a Home Health Aide, the primary responsibility lies in providing essential assistance with daily living activities and personal care services as outlined in the patient’s established care plan. These tasks may include:
·         Companionship: Offering emotional support and engaging patients in conversation to combat loneliness and isolation
·         Daily Living Activities/Household Support
·         Meal Preparation & Nutrition: Prepare & provide nutritious meals following dietary restrictions outlined in the care plan
·         Personal Care Services
·         Mobility Support: Assisting with ambulation and ensuring safety 
·         Patient Monitoring
·         Medication Reminders


Qualifications and Skills:
·         Home Health Aide (HHA)/Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certification
·         Reliable/Dependable
·         Previous experience in Home Care, nursing, or caregiving can be beneficial
·         Strong Communication Skills, compassionate, and patient
·         Ability to work independently while following care plans and instructions
·         A commitment to preserving patient confidentiality & adhering to ethical standards
·         Flexibility: Must be adaptable to meet the changing needs of patients effectively
·         Create a safe environment for clients
 
HHA/PCA Requirements for Hiring:
·         Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide Certification
·         2 Forms of ID, Government ID, Work Authorization, etc.
·         Physical Assessment within the last 12 months to include TB Screening (Quantiferon/PPD Testing 
·         Proof of Immunization of MMR
·         Flu & COVID vaccines, if received
