HHA/PCA

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and attentive Home Health Aide / Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to clients in their homes and help promote comfort, safety, dignity, and independence. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality care, building positive relationships, and assisting with daily living activities in a respectful and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining a respectful and patient approach.
• Support clients with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed and permitted by care plans and agency guidelines.
• Help with transfers, ambulation, and other activities of daily living as appropriate.
• Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow care plans, documentation requirements, infection control practices, and safety protocols.
• Provide assistance with errands, appointments, and transportation support when assigned.
• Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a similar support role preferred.
• Current certification as a Home Health Aide or Personal Care Assistant, if required by state or employer guidelines.
• Ability to provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities in a safe and respectful manner.
• Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow care instructions and document services accurately.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility, lifting, standing, and other care-related tasks as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required depending on assignment.
