Consistent with the Agreement between the North Canton City Schools Board of Education and the North Canton Education Association, the following position is being posted for the period of August 26, 2026, through September 8, 2026, or until filled.

Long-Term Substitute High School Science Teacher

• Building: Hoover High School
• Effective Dates: Starting on or close to Oct. 1, 2026 and lasting approximately 6 weeks
• Assignment: Anatomy & Physiology classes
• Licensure Requirement: Candidates will need to have either a valid Ohio Teacher license certifying them to teach high school students or a valid Ohio Substitute Teacher license
• Certification in 7th - 12th grade science is preferred, but not required
• Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience will be considered
• Experience in a science-related field will be considered
