Job Description:

Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.General Job duties/ Types of procedures required. - Care for laboring mom, assist with delivery, and immediate care of newborn and post-delivery care for mom.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.- Computerized system-Meditech. Fetal monitoring system - Client/CentricityRequired skills and minimum years of experience. - Labor and delivery skills with a minimum of 3 years.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. - BLS & NRP (REQUIRED) STABLE & Advance FM (RECOMMENDED)Shift or schedule requirements- Variable - Day and Night shifts possible - 12 Hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation. Scheduled 12 hours call at least once/month. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.- L&D 8 Labor Beds; Postpartum 18 Beds
