Here's The Role

Now hiring for the Transmission Line Construction Team! Join us and be part of a 16-person team that works on LCRA Capital Portfolio projects around Texas. You will be trained to safely work on transmission lines using a variety of equipment. As your knowledge and skillset increase, you will be trusted with more independence, as you continue your training with the goal of being a High Line Worker Journeyman. How You'll Contribute

• Help construct, maintain and repair transmission lines.
• Operate and maintain equipment like bucket trucks, boom trucks, drilling rigs, and winch trucks.
• Learn and follow all safety, environmental and departmental policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Safely climb wood and steel transmission structures to extreme heights.

How You're Qualified

• Zero or more years of experience in transmission and/or distribution line construction and/or maintenance work or related field involving work at heights, or relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license.

How You'll Stand Out

• Have experience working on transmission or distribution lines.
• Hold a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
