High Line Worker Journeyman

LCRA's Line Operations group is looking for a Journeyman to join our team of High Line Workers! Based in Marble Falls, at an expert level, you will construct, maintain and repair electric transmission lines across our western district and help guide team members in accomplishing their tasks safely and efficiently. How You’ll Contribute:

• Guide and direct less-experienced team members and effectively handle multiple tasks at the same time in support of the supervisor and in lieu of the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental and departmental policies and procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as bucket trucks, boom trucks, winch trucks, etc., used in performing aerial work.
• Perform live-line maintenance with hot-sticks on energized transmission lines.
• Climb wood and steel transmission structures to extreme heights using proper safety equipment.
• Communicate with management, customer and landowners through both verbal and written methods.

How You’re Qualified:

• Four or more years of experience in transmission and/or distribution line construction or maintenance work or related field involving work at heights or relevant experience.
• Class A Texas commercial driver's license
