The Five Education VISTAs will share key capacity-building initiatives.
- The Community Engagement VISTA will lead marketing, branding, and fundraising efforts.
- The Enrichment VISTA will expand the Community Writing Center and strengthen Bonner Leaders anti-poverty and capacity-building work.
- The Partnership VISTA will grow tutoring and enrichment programs, enhance recognition of outstanding educators, and improve the public image of High Point schools through strategic communications.
- The Persistence VISTA will build Avance program capacity, coordinate volunteers with the YWCA, promote civic engagement, and support adolescent parents and Latinx students toward high school success.
- The Student Engagement VISTA will strengthen coordination among HPU mentoring groups, identify service gaps for K-12 support and college readiness, and help nonprofits recruit HPU student volunteers.
