High-Reach Order Selector (Cherry Picker Forklift Operator)

About the Role

We’re growing our warehouse team in Ontario, CA and need a skilled high-reach operator who thrives at heights and loves precision. As our High-Reach Order Selector, you’ll navigate a cherry picker/order picker to find, pick, and stage products so every shipment leaves right and on time.

A Day in the Life

You start your shift with a quick equipment walk-around, reviewing your pick list and safety checks. From there, you’ll head to the aisles, elevating on a cherry picker to retrieve items, scanning and verifying each product before transporting it to staging. Throughout the day, you’ll balance speed with accuracy, keep your area tidy, and collaborate with teammates to keep orders flowing. You’ll also help with cycle counts, spot discrepancies, and take part in short training huddles to sharpen your skills. All along, you’ll keep your eye on KPIs—because hitting goals keeps the operation humming.

What You’ll Do

• Operate cherry picker and order picker forklifts to locate, retrieve, and move products safely and accurately.
• Assemble and prepare customer orders for shipment with strong attention to quality and detail.
• Keep aisles and work zones clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
• Support inventory control through regular counts and prompt reporting of variances.
• Coordinate with leads and peers to streamline workflow and solve problems on the fly.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs immediately.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve technique, safety, and product knowledge.
• Work toward and meet established key performance indicators (KPI targets).

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Hands-on experience operating cherry picker/order picker equipment in a warehouse.
• Sharp focus, ability to follow pick instructions precisely, and strong organization.
• Clear communication and a team-first mindset.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Solid understanding of warehouse safety practices and protocols.
• Forklift certification or license is a plus.
