Title: High Risk OB Sonographer
Location: Riverside, CA 92505
Duration: 3 months of assignment (with Possible Extension)
Timing: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Schedule: 5x8, 40 hours/Week Pay: up to $75/hr. on W2 (for Locals)
Pay: up to $3100/weekly (for Travelers)
Position Overview: High Risk OB Sonographer to provide advanced ultrasound imaging services for high-risk pregnancies in Riverside, California. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience performing advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations, including fetal echocardiography, nuchal translucency scans, and other specialized maternal-fetal imaging procedures. The sonographer will work closely with physicians and maternal-fetal medicine specialists to support accurate diagnosis, monitoring, and evaluation of high-risk pregnancies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations for high-risk pregnancies.
Conduct fetal echocardiography and evaluate fetal cardiac structures and function.
Perform nuchal translucency (NT) scans according to established protocols.
Complete specialized maternal-fetal medicine and obstetric sonographic procedures.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Assess fetal anatomy, growth, development, and well-being as directed by clinical protocols.
Document examination findings, measurements, and patient information accurately.
Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, radiologists, obstetricians, and other healthcare professionals.
Explain procedures to patients and provide appropriate support throughout examinations.
Follow department policies, patient safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and report technical issues as needed.
Protect patient privacy and comply with applicable healthcare regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience performing advanced ultrasound imaging for high-risk pregnancies.
