High School AP Math & Physics Teacher

Immediate opening for advanced math(s) teacher (see subjects below). This is an opportunity to teach a wonderful community of international students who love math and are academically driven. The ideal teacher must be interested in teaching math in an open Christian school context. The ideal math teacher should love math, and be able to teach communicate advanced math concepts well to serious high school math students attempting to score well on AP exams, ACT/SAT assessments. Southlands is a college prep school with students seeking to attend top 50 colleges nationally and internationally. The instructor must be comfortable teaching in an international student body and able to teach the math covered in courses including:

Requirements / Qualifications\n

1. Math Degree preferred; Master's Degree is highly desirable

\n

2. California Single Subject Teaching Credential

\n

3. Current TB test or TB risk assessment (within 4 years)

\n

4. Livescan fingerprinting required

\n

5. Current CA Mandated Reporter Certificate

\n

6. First Aid/CPR Certificate
