Benefits: Position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and LTD through the School Employee Benefits Board (SEBB) and retirement through the WA State Department of Retirement Systems (DRS).
Position Description: Woodland High School seeks an excellent classroom teacher to teach English Language Arts courses and who is able to provide excellent instruction in Health as a secondary course assignment.
Job Summary: To teach and educate students according to their educational needs and abilities. Plan, prepare, and deliver the lesson. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and behavior of students. Communicate, consult, and cooperate with other members of the school staff. The work assists the superintendent toward the accomplishment of the mission of Woodland Public Schools of preparing students for career, life, and college so that they can become responsible and compassionate citizens. Work is performed under the direction of the principal.
