Destiny High School is part of the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program. We are a small, Christian high school. Destiny is seeking highly qualified individuals who are passionate about Christianity and urban education.
DHS is currently seeking highly qualified English teachers. Subjects include but are not limited to English 9, English 10, English 11, English 12, Creative Writing, Short Stories, English Composition, African American Literature. Three years of previous teaching experience is preferred, but all prospective teachers are encouraged to apply. A valid teaching license is not required to teach at a choice school but is preferred.
DHS is on a block schedule, and students attend four blocks each school day. Teachers follow the Wisconsin Readiness/Common Core standards to provide a rigorous, college-preparatory education.
This position is 1.0 FTE and includes full benefits.
