POSITION OPENING: High School FRENCH OR SOCIAL STUDIES Teacher â Inspire and Empower Young Minds!

AHS 1.0 FTE French or Social Studies Teacher

WHAT WE NEED:

1. Valid State Teacher Certification Granted by the Professional Teaching Standards Board.

2. Bachelor's Degree with a major or minor in French (000FA)

3. Evidence of ability to establish working relationships that result in mutual respect.

4. Ability to speak clearly and concisely both in oral and written communication.

5. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.

6. Regular, reliable and punctual attendance to the job is an essential function.

OR

1. Valid State Teacher Certification Granted by the Professional Teaching Standards Board.

2. Must have the following endorsements:

CX certification? and completion of AP Government professional learning as recommended by the College Board, or willingness to complete;

OR

RX and CF and completion of AP Government professional learning as recommended by the College Board or willingness to complete

3. Evidence of ability to establish working relationships that result in mutual respect.

4. Ability to speak clearly and concisely in oral and written communication.

5. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.

6. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance to the job is an essential function.

WHAT YOU NEED:

1. Works cooperatively with administrators, student services personnel and teachers, to ensure the delivery of

curriculum

2. Assist students with selection of appropriate academic courses.

3. Provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil, to

the extent feasible.

4. Maintains control of storage and use of school-owned property.

5. Maintains professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the district, and/or in self-

selected professional growth activities.

6. Communicates with parents and school counselors on pupil progress.

7. Participates in curriculum and other developmental programs.

8. Other duties as assigned by the principal.
