The Waterloo School District is accepting applications for a High School Head JV Football Coach for the upcoming school year.
Applicants should possess the skills to work collaboratively with the varsity head coach, athletic department, and other coaching staff within the Waterloo athletic programs. We are seeking a coach who can lead the junior varsity program while aligning with the overall vision and philosophy of the football program.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and running JV practices, developing player fundamentals, and preparing student-athletes for progression to the varsity level. Strong communication, organization, and game management skills are essential.
Our Head JV Coach will play a vital role in building the program by fostering a positive and competitive team culture. This includes supporting youth development efforts during the school year and summer, and contributing to the overall success and consistency of the football program.
We are looking for a coach who will instill in participants an appreciation for discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while building strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
