Fasman Yeshiva High School is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated High School Jewish History teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
Teach and plan lessons for Jewish History courses for high school students.
Develop and implement engaging and interactive classroom activities and assessments to support student learning.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students, including those with lower academic ability.
Use assessment data to inform and adjust teaching practices, set individual student goals, and provide targeted support.
Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
Provide support and guidance to students outside of class as needed.
Foster a positive and supportive classroom culture that encourages risk-taking and promotes student engagement and success.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and achievement.

Maintains expertise in subject matter through professional development.
Excellence in classroom management techniques
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to interface and communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members.
Strong passion for teaching & commitment to student learning & development
Committed to curriculum design and growth.
Education and Training:
Bachelor's degree in History or a related field preferred
Master's Degree Preferred
Strong knowledge of Jewish History
Ability to differentiate instruction and design engaging lessons for all levels and abilities
Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds at times.
