Position Overview
The Language Arts Teacher will teach English courses in grades 9 and 10 as well as Senior English Literature. The ideal candidate will cultivate strong reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills while fostering a deep appreciation for literature and integrating Catholic, Franciscan values into instruction.
Dual Credit credentialing is preferred.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in English Education or a related field • Masters preferred • Valid Indiana teaching license or willingness to obtain one • Experience teaching high school students is preferred • Strong ability to integrate technology to enhance learning
