Hamilton Community Schools invites dedicated educators to apply for the open position of High School Math Teacher that's available starting in the 2026-2027 school year. Reporting to the Building Principal, the teacher plans and delivers effective instruction, assesses student learning, manages the classroom environment, and collaborates with colleagues, families, and support staff. This position plays a critical role in fostering inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environments while advancing district curriculum goals and student achievement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Essential functions are the core responsibilities required to perform this role. These duties ensure students receive appropriate instruction and support for their educational development. The Classroom Teacher is also responsible for other duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the district, provided such duties are consistent with the employee's certification, job responsibilities, and do not violate the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25+ pounds.
