Math Teacher (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Central Sands Community High School is a public, tuition-free, Waldorf-inspired charter school serving grades 9-12. Our curriculum integrates academics, arts, sustainability, and community engagement to cultivate mindful leaders in an ever-changing world. Our learning model emphasizes project-based learning, experiential education, and whole-student development-head, heart, and hands.
Position Overview
Central Sands Community High School seeks certified High School Math Teacher candidates with proven teaching experience. Ideal candidates possess experience and/or an interest in Waldorf education, a multi-disciplinary background, a commitment to sustainability, and a dedication to serving a diverse student population. FTE has the potential to expand based upon student enrollment and the candidate''s willingness/ability to fill various roles in the school.
The math courses include Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Algebra, and Geometry. Possible math electives could include Projective Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and college math. Candidates must be willing to develop curriculum for these courses. If full-time, there will be additional classes, including advisory.
Qualifications:
Five years of teaching experience preferred
Waldorf teacher training and/or Waldorf teaching experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in education or related field
Wisconsin Teaching License with certification in High School Mathematics
Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule: 2026/27 School Year, timing dependent on candidate and teaching load.
