Required Education & Experience

Certification: Valid State Teaching License in Secondary Mathematics (Grades 9-12), or active enrollment in an approved alternative certification pathway.
Background Check: Clear criminal background check and child abuse clearances (as required by state law).
Essential Skills
Deep Content Knowledge: Mastery of high school mathematics topics ranging from foundational Algebra and Geometry to advanced courses like Calculus or Statistics.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, accessible manner.
Adaptability: A strong commitment to professional growth and the ability to pivot instructional strategies to meet student needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry Experience: Prior professional experience working in a STEM field (e.g., engineering, data analysis, finance, tech sector) is highly valued.
