Job Title: High School Geometry Teacher Campus: Vernon High School

Position Overview: Vernon ISD is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Geometry Teacher for Vernon High School. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction, foster critical thinking, and support student success in mathematics.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Geometry
• Deliver instruction that meets the diverse learning needs of students
• Use data-driven practices to assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with campus staff, parents, and administration to support student achievement
• Participate in professional development and campus activities
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
