REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Physical abilities sufficient to frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and/or lifting.
  • Ability to relate and communicate with students, teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Flexibility to support diverse classroom needs and instructional settings.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One or more years of experience working with students in a school setting.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient for prolonged and effective contact with students.
  • Familiarity with online (MVU) class routines and management strategies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support online students with online course pacing and platform
  • Communicate with students, families, and administration
  • Serve as a liaison between students and the online teacher
  • Other duties as assigned by administrator

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 10 month

SALARY/BENEFITS:

  • According to the Haslett Aide/Paraprofessional Association (HAPA) Master Agreement, Pay Level 1
  • This is a part-time position scheduled at approximately 5 hours per week. Pay and any contractual leave are based on the employee's regularly scheduled hours under the Master Agreement.
