- Must hold an Indiana Administrator's License.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with high school level students and parents.
- Have leadership and motivational skills for high school level education.
- Must have an understanding of curriculum, instruction, assessments, scheduling, the process of school improvement and the requirements of accountability.
- Manage, analyze, and interpret data, including assessment results, to compel school improvement.
- Lead the recruiting, hiring, and training of the school's professional staff.
- Supervise students, student activities, and all personnel attached to the school.
- Maintain and inspire a safe and orderly school environment. Manage all security procedures, including evacuation and emergency plans, in collaboration with the school district and emergency personnel.
- Promote and ensure partnerships with the career center, special education cooperative, community partners, school partners and universities, social support groups, parents, and families.
- Appropriately respond to requests for information from District administration, staff, student, parents, community stakeholders.
- Participate in administrative meetings and other meetings as required or appropriate.
- Be an effective communicator with excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills.
- Well versed in dual credit, early college, CTE, Next Level Pathways, and Indiana GPS.
