Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced High School Science Instructors to join our dynamic faculty team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in science and the ability to teach a variety of courses, including:
Physics (Physics, Honors Physics, AP Physics 1 & 2, AP Physics C: Mechanics, and Electricity & Magnetism)
Biology (General Biology, AP Biology)
Chemistry (General Chemistry, AP Chemistry)
Environmental Science (Environmental Studies, AP Environmental Science)
We are looking for educators who are passionate about science education and committed to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and academically rigorous classroom environment that nurtures critical thinking, inquiry, and scientific literacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned lessons that promote scientific inquiry and deep conceptual understanding.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration, respect for diverse perspectives, and active participation.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with special needs and English language learners.
Evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, and provide timely, constructive feedback to support their academic development.
Maintain an organized and supportive classroom through effective classroom management strategies.
Stay current with developments in science education and integrate relevant technologies and instructional practices into the curriculum.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a closely related field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
Valid secondary-level teaching credential or certification in science (preferred but not required).
Minimum of two years of high school teaching or tutoring experience with demonstrated success in science instruction.
Proven ability to engage students, support diverse learning needs, and cultivate a growth-oriented academic environment.
Passion for science and teaching, with a genuine desire to inspire students to explore, question, and think critically.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
