Job Summary

Oak View Alternative High School is looking for an innovative Social Science/Math teacher with the need to break free from traditional education. Our small class sizes allow for strong relationships with students and successful individualized instruction. We are in search of a staff member who collaborates cross curricular with the ability to create your own program that meets the state standards, needs of the students, and your own professional interest.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Letter of Introduction Resume 2-3 Letters of Recommendation (within 3 years) Teaching Credential - preference is Single Subject Social Science or Single Subject Math, however any CTC credential will suffice (provide copy with document number). Copy of transcripts *Response to the following writing prompt: As a teacher in Oak Park, you will support a wide range of learners with varied strengths, needs, and backgrounds. Please describe how your teaching philosophy, practices, and strategies reflect the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to create inclusive learning environments that support success for all students. PLEASE NOTE THAT APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS ALL INFORMATION LISTED ABOVE IS INCLUDED
