Established in 1999, Freire Schools (www.freireschools.org) is a network of four charter schools across Philadelphia and Delaware whose mission is to prepare students from historically underserved communities for success in college and beyond. For this High School Spanish Teacher position, you'll be working at Freire Charter High School in Center City, Philadelphia. Freire Charter High School (9–12): 2027 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19103
As a member of Freire's instructional team, you will implement high-quality, standards-aligned curriculum to drive rigorous instruction and high achievement, while remaining open to feedback and instructional coaching. You will also foster a safe, affirming environment where students feel confident taking risks and practicing Spanish authentically.

Salaries for certified teachers entering their first year start at $60,000, with an overall salary range of $50,000–$85,000 based on experience and qualifications.
