Position Overview:
- Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to high school students in inclusive and self-contained classroom settings.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and accommodations to support student achievement, independence, and meaningful participation.
- Maintain accurate documentation, monitor student progress, and ensure compliance with special education requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching Certification
- Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs and implementing IEPs preferred
