In Juda, we pride ourselves on being a community where everyone knows your name. As our Cross-Categorical lead for grades 9-12, you won't just be managing IEPs; you'll be a vital mentor helping students navigate their path toward graduation and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Build Bridges: Form authentic, professional, and positive relationships with students, fellow staff, and parents. We believe communication is the heartbeat of a successful rural school.

• Empower Students: Provide tailored support both inside the general education classroom and within specialized settings to ensure all learners can thrive.

• Lead with Heart: Manage a cross-categorical caseload for high schoolers, focusing on individual growth, transition planning, and academic success.

• Engage the Community: This role may include opportunities for student advising, coaching, or leading extracurricular activities-let us know where your passions lie!

Who We're Looking For

• A licensed (or license-eligible) Special Education teacher with a Cross-Categorical certification.

• A collaborator who views parents and general education teachers as essential partners.

• Someone who thrives in a small-district environment where flexibility and a "get-it-done" attitude are celebrated.

• A professional who is as comfortable advocating for a student in a meeting as they are cheering them on at a Friday night game.
