The Dallas Morning News has an opening for a part-time sports clerk. This position''s primary job will be to edit and format statistical information for print and digital use.
Job Responsibilities:
Data entry of raw statistics
Communicating with other editors so stats complement stories and fit available space
Proofing pages for errors in headlines, stories and captions
Occasionally answering phones and taking dictation of results or stories

1-3 years of journalism experience; bachelor''s degree or progress toward
Broad knowledge of sports and their statistics
An eye for detail and accuracy
Ability to multi-task
Capable of performing under tight deadlines
Ability to design pages is a plus
