Job Description
This temporary part-time position is essential to support ongoing summer research in Dr. Lindner's lab related to natural language processing, machine learning, and text-based data analysis. The student will assist with time-intensive tasks such as organizing datasets, preparing text documents, supporting annotation, and maintaining research documentation. This support will help the lab make progress on active research projects while providing the student with meaningful early exposure to computing and applied research.
The research assistant will support supervised research activities in natural language processing and machine learning. Core functions include organizing and cleaning text-based datasets, assisting with document review and annotation, supporting basic literature/background searches, preparing data for analysis, maintaining research notes, and helping summarize findings or prepare project materials.
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.50 hourly
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
