Major/Essential Functions

  • Assist senior trades staff with routine maintenance, repairs, and installations in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general facilities work.
  • Perform basic task including measuring, cutting, lifting, carrying materials, and preparing work areas.
  • Use hand tools and power tools under supervision, following all safety guidelines.
  • Help troubleshoot equipment issues and support preventive maintenance activities. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and workspaces.
  • Document work performed and report issues or hazards to supervisors.
  • Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and workplace procedures.

Visa Information

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required.
