POSITION: High School Teacher START DATE: AUGUST 2025 Responsible to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences and establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. Responsible for working effectively with a team of paraprofessionals, teachers, administrators, parents and District office staff with the purpose of providing quality educational services for each and every student, each and every day, without exception. DUTIES: * Utilize an adopted course of study, instructional program guidelines, and other materials in planning and developing lesson plans and teaching outlin* Pursue a variety of methodology in teaching and instructing pupils, including lectures, demonstrations, discussions, lectures, and laboratory experiences. * Conduct teaching and instructional activities, using educational equipment, materials, books, and other learning aids. * Provides instruction in citizenship and other subject matter specified by legal mandate, District policy, and administrative regulations.
