Castle Parma is a charter high school seeking passionate, student-centered educators to join our team as Math, Science, and CBI/CTE Teachers. These teachers will deliver high-quality instruction, support diverse learners, and contribute to a school culture focused on academic growth, career readiness, and real-world skill development. Candidates may apply for one or more subject areas based on licensure and experience.
Math Teacher
- Teach courses such as Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, or other math electives.
- Support students in building foundational numeracy, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
- Integrate real-world applications to increase relevance and engagement.
Science Teacher
- Teach courses such as Biology, Physical Science, Environmental Science, or Chemistry (based on licensure).
- Facilitate hands-on labs, inquiry-based learning, and scientific literacy.
- Ensure safe and effective use of lab equipment and materials.
CBI/CTE Teacher
- Provide Career-Based Interventions for students identified as at-risk academically or behaviorally.
- Teach employability skills, career readiness, and workplace professionalism.
- Coordinate work-based learning, job placements, and community partnerships.
- Deliver CTE coursework aligned to the school’s pathway(s), which may include business, workforce readiness, or industry credentials.
- Maintain required documentation for CTE compliance and student credentialing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a charter school, alternative school, or nontraditional learning environment.
- Background in project-based learning, career readiness, or workforce development.
- Experience supporting students with academic or behavioral challenges.
- Familiarity with Ohio Learning Standards and CTE program requirements.
