An Off-Campus Work-Study Position - MUST have a Work Study Award
This is an off-campus work study position with the LNESC Upward Bound Program at various high schools around Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The student will work on a one-to-one or in a group setting to mentor/tutor students grades 9-12 in science and math. Days of position are Monday through Thursday from 12:00 PM - 4:30 PM.
Upward Bound provides tutoring and mentoring services to help the students at Albuquerque High Schools succeed in various subjects.
Tutor/Mentor will assist students with their coursework in Mathematics (Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Calculus) and Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) Tutor/mentor is expected to act as a mentor and model leadership behaviors for participating students.
