High Temperature Furnace Operator

Operate high temperature vacuum furnace.

Monitor process and record parameters

Utilize analog and digital gauges, digital controllers and PC HMI to record temperature, current, voltage, flow, pH, level, pressure and partial pressure of liquid and gas

Adjust gauges, valves, digital I/O and (HMI) process parameters to ensure safety of personnel

Load and unload furnace

LOTO : Electric (high & low voltage), Pneumatic, Water Circulation and Process Gas

Work with hazardous material and corrosive gas

Able to periodically operate in a full face respirator, test required

Packaging of purified product

Adheres to established clean room procedures

Standard maintenance

Change pump oil

Clean chambers, exhaust piping and stacks (reassemble as required)

Inspect equipment for erosion and mechanical integrity

Record and report equipment condition and status

Remove, inspect, replace: carbon insulation and graphite heaters

Install vacuum pumps

Disconnect and re-connect high current power to heater power studs

Standard shift 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM Monday - Thursday

Available for periodic overtime and weekends
