Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Highrise Superintendent to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of high-rise construction projects, ensuring that all activities are carried out according to plan, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Highrise Superintendent, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the daily operations of highrise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that all activities are carried out according to plan and within budget.
2. Ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and guidelines on all job sites, promoting a culture of safety among all team members.
3. Implementing and managing quality control processes, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring that all work meets or exceeds the project's quality standards.
4. Managing the procurement, storage, and allocation of materials, ensuring that all materials are used efficiently and effectively.
5. Identifying potential risks and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate these risks.
6. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the project.
7. Resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process, ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the outcome.
8. Keeping all stakeholders informed about the progress of the project, providing regular updates and reports.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing high-rise construction projects.
2. Extensive knowledge of construction planning, safety management, quality control, materials management, and risk management.
3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
6. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
7. Certifications in safety management, quality control, or related areas would be an asset.
