We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.In the role of Bridge Project Manager, we'll count on you to:- Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline engineering projects or large, routine projects- Foster and develop client relationships for yourself and your staff- Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire project's development- Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings- Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate or adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule- Collaborate with peers and team members to create a cohesive practice- Perform complex structural planning, analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation projects to ensure completion of documents on schedule- Work on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, prestress concrete, segmental and cable-stayed), box culvert, and interchange design for highway projects- Select standard bridge engineering/design procedures, develop structural details using specialized structural design and analysis software, and perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development- Review, assign work and/or check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITs- Mentor younger staff and support continued development- Perform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in Engineering- A minimum 2 years project management experience- PMP certification- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, MicroStation, AutoCAD, MathCAD, LARSA- Experience mentoring junior staff- Proficiency with seismic design and detailing of bridges- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment#LI-KJ1Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering- 7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
