We are seeking experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators to work in a fast-paced wheel assembly facility. This position requires strong forklift operating skills, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to safely maneuver equipment in confined and tight operating areas.Requirements

• Propane-powered sit-down forklift experience is required
• 3+ years of forklift operating experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to safely operate a forklift in confined spaces, narrow aisles, and around production equipment
• Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures and material-handling practices
• Ability to accurately position, move, load, and unload materials
• Comfortable working in an active manufacturing/assembly environment
• Ability to maintain awareness of pedestrians, equipment, racks, products, and other potential hazards
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a production team

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane-powered sit-down forklift throughout the facility
• Transport wheels, components, materials, and other products to designated production and storage areas
• Maneuver the forklift safely in tight and confined spaces
• Load, unload, stage, and relocate materials as directed
• Supply production and assembly areas with materials in a timely manner
• Follow designated traffic patterns and all facility safety procedures
• Perform required pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment concerns
• Maintain control of loads and ensure materials are properly positioned and secured
• Work safely around production employees, machinery, and other powered industrial equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Complete additional material-handling duties as assigned

Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate has at least 3 years of recent sit-down forklift experience and is highly comfortable operating a propane forklift in tight spaces. Candidates should be confident operators who prioritize safety, maintain strong control of their equipment, and can work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.Previous manufacturing, automotive, wheel/tire assembly, or similar industrial experience is a plus.
