$25 - $35 an hour (Based on Experience)
Job Type
Full-time; hours Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm
Expected hours: 40 per week.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old.
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Heavy duty diesel ASE Certification
3-5 years of heavy-duty equipment experience required.
CDL class A/B Driver's License (Preferred)
Clean driving record
Must have own tools.
DOT Brake/Annual Inspection certification

Full Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Basic knowledge and understanding of repairing or replacing all structural, body and mechanical parts of a heavy-duty diesel truck. Must be proficient with brakes, drivelines, and mechanical engine components on tractors. Strong electrical experience with the ability to diagnose and repair all electrical systems, up to and including emissions and engine components.
Basic knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance, ability to identify major components and repairing or replacing mechanic parts of a trailer.
Field Mechanic: Will be required to travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of customer owned Fleet equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.
Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably.
Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety customer equipment while using a high degree of independent judgment.
Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner.
Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements.
