We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns. The RN will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Nights – 4 × 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend minimum
Tentative Start Date: August 31, 2026
Pay Rate
For Traveler - $3696 total weekly gross for 48/hour weeks - $77/hour ($48/hour W - 2 taxable , $29/hour non taxable stipend)
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience
Active NH RN License
BLS certification required
Circulation experience required
Must be willing to care for GYN surgical and general post-operative patients
Must be willing to work every 3rd weekend
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Assist physicians, anesthesia, and healthcare professionals during procedures
Provide care for GYN surgical and post-operative patients
Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Educate and support patients and families
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Follow established safety, quality, and patient-care standards
Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
