    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized, compassionate care to critically ill and premature newborns in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The RN will monitor neonatal patients, administer treatments, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support families throughout the course of care.

    Position: Registered Nurse – NICU
    Location: Henderson, NV
    Unit: Level III NICU
    Contract: 8 Weeks
    Start Date: August 31, 2026
    Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
    Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts
    Travel Rate: $85/hr
    Local Rate: $75–$80/hr

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns
    • Assess, monitor, and document neonatal conditions and responses to treatment
    • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered
    • Manage and monitor neonatal equipment and support systems
    • Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
    • Assist with neonatal emergencies and resuscitation procedures
    • Collaborate with neonatologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
    • Educate and support parents and families
    • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow safety protocols
    • Follow evidence-based NICU practices and infection-control standards

    Requirements

    • Recent NICU RN experience required
    • BLS – Required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
    • STABLE Program – Required
    • Current RN license applicable to the assignment
    • Strong neonatal assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills

    Travel eligibility: Based on applicable facility requirements.
