As a Production Worker, you'll be essential in supporting daily operations by operating machinery and assisting with packaging and baling. What You'll Do
As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for:
Operating and assisting with packaging and baling equipment to ensure efficient product flow.
Working around machinery that compresses wood by-products, maintaining safe and efficient operations.
Loading bags, removing finished bales, and preparing products for shipment to meet daily quotas.
Recording bale weights and maintaining accurate daily production logs for quality control and reporting purposes.
Performing routine maintenance and making basic adjustments to equipment to minimize downtime.
Troubleshooting minor equipment issues to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
Supporting forklift operations as needed, with training and certification provided if necessary.
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Prior experience in manufacturing or production.
Forklift experience is preferred, not required.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot minor issues.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods of time (7+ hours).
Good hand-eye coordination and focus to ensure safety and accuracy.
Basic math skills for recording weights and measurements.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
