Fabricator Fitter – Urgently hiring in Lebanon, OR!

Job Title: Fabricator Fitter
Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Looking for a hands-on, high-skill fabrication role with room for career growth? Join a reputable fabrication and manufacturing company as a Fabricator Fitter in Lebanon, OR, and make an impact every day. In this role, you'll be instrumental in constructing custom machinery, stairways, and conveyor systems. Collaborate with the fabrication and production teams to deliver precise, high-quality components on time, ensuring project success and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:
As a Fabricator Fitter, you will be responsible for:
  • Fabricating, fitting, and welding parts and assemblies from blueprints and engineered drawings.
  • Building structural components such as stairways, platforms, and conveyor systems.
  • Laying out materials accurately using measurements, templates, and layout tools.
  • Operating shop fabrication equipment like shears, press brakes, rolls, ironworkers, saws, and carbon arc welders.
  • Utilizing forklifts and overhead cranes to move and position materials and assemblies safely.
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on shop equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Working overtime and Saturdays as needed to meet project deadlines.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate will have:
  • At least 2 years of fabrication experience; advanced skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience in constructing stairways, conveyor systems, and structural components.
  • Strong knowledge of plumb, level, square, and layout practices.
  • Good math and geometry skills.
  • Experience with rigging and overhead crane operation.
  • Mechanical aptitude and effective problem-solving skills.
  • A toolbox equipped with standard fabrication tools.
  • Dependability, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
