Job Title: Structural Steel Welder Fabricator
Pay: $27 - $33 per hour
Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (potential to extend to 4:30 PM), M-F
Start Date: ASAP

As a Structural Steel Welder Fabricator, youll play a vital role in producing high-quality steel components. You will work closely with the production team to ensure precision and excellence in every project.
What You'll Do
As a Structural Steel Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for:
Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements and follow process procedures.
Operating welding equipment using processes such as FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, SAW, and others as needed.
Utilizing various equipment and machines, including brakes, shears, and manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting tools, along with brazing and soldering equipment.
Performing layout and fit-up of structural steel components including beams, columns, braces, and connections.
Repairing worn parts of metal products by welding additional layers.
Completing other duties as assigned to ensure project success.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
2-4 years of structural steel welding experience.
Familiarity with AWS welding symbols.
A strong desire to work consistently in the shop rather than travel.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
A safety-conscious mindset.
The capability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods.
