Hiring Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical -Surgical in Dixon, Illinois

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered Med-Surg nursing care.
  

• Assess patients and monitor clinical/telemetry changes.
  

• Administer medications and treatments; document care accurately.
  

• Collaborate with the care team and educate patients/families.
  

• Provide relief charge support and coordinate unit priorities.
  

Patient Population

Care for a diverse range of medical conditions, including NSTEMI, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, AKI, and other complex medical-surgical cases.

Unit Highlights: 23-bed & 14-bed Med-Surg units | Ideal 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio | Telemetry monitoring | PCT & Charge Nurse support

Requirements

• Current RN license
  
• 2+ years of professional nursing experience
  
• Medical-Surgical experience required
  
• Relief Charge Nurse experience required
  
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
  
• BLS certification required
