Hiring Registered Nurses (RN) & Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)

RequirementsFor LPN Candidates

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Active LPN license in the State of Maine
• Minimum 6 months of LPN experience
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and support up to 80 lbs.
• Physical stamina for extended periods of standing and walking
• Annual physical (if required)
• Negative TB test results
• Clean background check
• COVID-19 vaccination (if required by facility)

For RN Candidates

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Maine
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and support up to 80 lbs.
• Physical stamina for extended periods of standing and walking
• Annual physical (if required)
• Negative TB test results
• Clean background check
• COVID-19 vaccination (if required by facility)

Responsibilities of LPN Responsibilities

• Admit, discharge, and transfer patients
• Monitor and report patient vital signs
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Perform wound care and collect specimens as required
• Communicate effectively with patients and families
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Maintain and restock medical supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
  
  

Responsibilities of RN Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing patient assessments and observations
• Administer and document medications according to facility policies
• Implement physician orders accurately
• Delegate and supervise nursing support staff
• Develop and update patient care plans
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care accordingly
• Identify patient and family education needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
