Pay Rate: Range $2016 to $2052 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Inpatient mental health or behavioral health unit/s
Shifts available: Nights
Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00p - 7.30a
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, three shifts per week; Mon-Fri with EOW, Block scheduling not guaranteed. Schedules are given 6 weeks at a time.
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
- Recent/Current Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Nursing or Behavioral health experience: 2 years â Required
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent â Required
- BSN or an equivalent â Highly preferred
- RN License for State of MI - Required
- HWC Certification - Preferred (Offered at the facility during onboarding)
- BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross - Required
Job Description:
- Provide all aspects of Psychiatric nursing care in the assigned units.
- Coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Provide care within Adult and Children Inpatient units, may float to other units if required
- Assess patientsâ physical and behavioral health needs and Develop and implement nursing care plans
- Admissions, Patient monitoring and charting
- Comfortable with paper charting for orders and meds
- Collaborate with other medical staff for patient care planning and administration
